During the Turkish Grand Prix, the Red Bulls will look a little different than usual. As a kind of tribute to Honda, the cars will drive around in the classic Honda Formula 1 cars. That means that Max Verstappen will continue his hunt for the world title in virgin white.
On his own website, Verstappen looks at the collaboration with the Japanese engine supplier: “It always feels special to race for Honda, even without a special livery. It is a shame for us and Honda to miss the Japanese GP but it is cool that we doing something in Turkey to celebrate. It’s going to be special, so I’m looking forward to it.”
De Limburger looks back on the beautiful moments he experienced together with Honda: “My best memories of Honda are of course the victories, especially my first with them, which was very emotional. Working together with Honda was a pleasure and they are super motivated every race and passionate to always perform as well as possible.”
