Valeria Perea makes history in the Descent of Alto Sella

“I was going with the Golondrosu thing and the truth is that once you are there it is not scary. It is a very beautiful race like the Piloña and it is a pity that the girls do not dare to compete now that they leave the same place as the boys, because, apart from the fact that it may be a little ‘dangerous’, it has a great time, going with the intrigue of the rabiones and the steps that there are and everything that any race of these entails ”, said the young paddler of the Club Los Rapids-Jaire Adventure.

The 56th Edition of the Descent of Alto Sella-Memorial Máximo Llamedo Olivera, organized by the Club Los Rápidos de Arriondas together with the Club Sirio-La Llongar, played on Sunday afternoon, was the second round of scoring for the “Stormkayaks Grand Prize”. Cash prizes were distributed among the first three absolute crews, counting both races (Alto Sella and Piloña-Sella). In addition, several flying goals were established that also carry a prize. In total 2,300 euros.
