Valentino Rossi admits he’s tired

MISANO, KOMPAS.com – After saying that he was starting to become paranoid about retiring, Valentino Rossi admitted that it was physically very tough to be at the same level in a MotoGP class race.

Rossi, who is 42 years old, always says he is still ready to serve riders who are far below him. But now he admits that he is tired.

“The physical condition is a disaster. It was very, very difficult, very difficult,” Rossi said quoting Paddock-GP.com, Monday (10/18/2021).

“Modern MotoGP is very physically demanding. On Sunday you are tired of Friday and Saturday training. Therefore, you have to be 100 per cent fit and you also have to be very young,” he said.

The driver, who will retire after the 2021 season, said he always tries to appear 100 percent in all conditions, but time cannot be resisted because age continues to grow.

“I can try to be 100 per cent and be in good shape, but being the same again is mission impossible. Unfortunately for me, being young is very difficult,” said Rossi.
