At an event hosted by longtime sponsor Kia, Rafael Nadal received a new custom electric crossover. The Mallorcan admitted to dreading speeding due to the silent engine.
« This is my first electric car. It’s a bit strange because you pick up speed and since it doesn’t make any noise you don’t even realize it », noted the man with 20 Grand Slam titles.
Be careful, Rafa, speeding is only allowed on the court.
Nadal is also preparing his return. He has been training for several days already in his academy, on hard, obviously with the Australian Open (end of January 2022) in his sights.
