They were worn by Michael Jordan in his first NBA games and they can become the most expensive sneakers ever

Sotheby’s announced on Friday that it will auction a pair of sneakers worn by Michael Jordan in his first games as an NBA player. It is a pair of white and red Nike Air Ships signed by the best in basketball history that is believed to be worth over $ 1.5 million.

According to the sportswear company based in Oregon, United States, this pair of shoes were used by Jordan in his fifth NBA game, on November 1, 1984, and are the oldest used by the player in the American professional league of those that reached the market.

Sotheby’s estimates that they are worth between $ 1 million and $ 1.5 million, the highest estimated price that a shoe has ever been awarded at auction, and would place them among the most expensive in history to reach that amount.
