With a bag of 73 thousand pesos to be distributed, yesterday the presentation of the First La Loma 2021 Open Tennis Tournament was held, which will take place from November 8 to 14 at the facilities of La Loma Centro Deportivo.
This event was attended by Eduardo Medica, director of the La Loma CD Tennis Academy; Alberto Blanco, Miguel Sánchez and Adriana Loo, all of them from the organizing committee and Juan Carlos Ibarra, general referee of the tournament.
This event will have the participation of 32 players, including 10 of the first rackets in Mexico, such as Lázaro Navarro, Manuel Sánchez, Marcela Zacarías, Ivar Aramburú, Sergio Molina, Jorge Olaya, Marat Sánchez among others.
Prior to this tournament, the La Loma amateur tournament will be held from November 1 to 7 in the singles modality in the second and third men’s strength categories.
Registration is already open in the sports department of La Loma with a cost of 600 pesos per participant and 400 per couple, the competition system is a simple eliminatory to two of three sets, with advantages, tie-break in 6 games equal; the composition of the main draw is 32 players, 22 direct, 8 qualified and 2 wild cards.
Regarding the awards, in singles, the champion will take 25 thousand pesos, the finalist 12,500, semifinalists 5,000, quarterfinals 2,000 and eighth-finals 800 pesos; in the doubles the champions will win 8,000 pesos and the finalist couple 4,000 pesos.
