BADAJOZ CITY COUNCIL
The VIII Sports Schools for the Elderly, organized by the Mayor’s Area of the Badajoz City Council, will arrive for the first time in the towns, as highlighted yesterday as a novelty by the councilor for the area, Antonio Cavacasillas. Specifically, different activities are offered in Valdebótoa, Sagrajas, Gévora and Novelda (hiking routes and Pilates), Balboa (petanque, hiking routes and multi-sport activities), Villafranco (petanque, paddle tennis and multi-sport activities).
Schools start tomorrow, October 7, until June 17 and offer 11 sports modalities: hiking routes (three days a week at 9:00 am), paddle tennis, tai chi, table tennis, badminton, zumba petanque, walking soccer, spinning, Pilates and relaxation. These activities are free and limited to a number of users per sport.
