The Sports Schools for the Elderly reach the villages

The VIII Sports Schools for the Elderly, organized by the Mayor’s Area of ​​the Badajoz City Council, will arrive for the first time in the towns, as highlighted yesterday as a novelty by the councilor for the area, Antonio Cavacasillas. Specifically, different activities are offered in Valdebótoa, Sagrajas, Gévora and Novelda (hiking routes and Pilates), Balboa (petanque, hiking routes and multi-sport activities), Villafranco (petanque, paddle tennis and multi-sport activities).

Schools start tomorrow, October 7, until June 17 and offer 11 sports modalities: hiking routes (three days a week at 9:00 am), paddle tennis, tai chi, table tennis, badminton, zumba petanque, walking soccer, spinning, Pilates and relaxation. These activities are free and limited to a number of users per sport.
