On October 16th and 17th, the “73rd All Japan Intercollegiate Basketball Championship Shikoku District Qualifying Tournament” was held at Twin Pal Nagao (Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture), and the men’s basketball club of our university achieved the best results since its foundation in 1997. I won the second place in the autumn tournament.

Currently, 35 people belong to the men’s basketball club. The members were not able to gain the experience of the match as they expected due to the corona, and were worried about the stress of not having the opportunity to show off their practice results and whether the practice method they were practicing was really correct. In such a situation, we took pictures of the game-style practice and looked back at the video to extract and overcome the problems. We thought about the practice menu by ourselves and worked hard every day. In addition, we made tactical reviews such as reviewing spacing and incorporating new zone defense to improve the level of the team.
In the semi-final match against Kochi University, 2quarterIt was tied until the end, but 3quarterThe members who came out of the bench in turn drew the flow and won with a score of 80-65. From the results of daily ingenious practice, the fact that the bench members are getting thicker was also a winning factor.
