Today, Friday October 22, the Delegation of Youth and Sports of the Diputación de Córdoba has made public the final resolution of the call for subsidies to sports entities in the province to carry out activities during 2021 in which they will be awarded to a total of 198 groups (187 sports clubs and sections and 11 federations).
This call was presented in April with a total budget of 450,000 euros, in which aid will finally be granted to a total of 187 sports clubs and sections, in addition to 11 sports federations; awarding between 525 and 5,000 euros per association or body.
These grants will be aimed at a wide range of sports developed by the different entities: football and futsal (56), athletics (20), cycling (17), mountaineering and hiking (11), swimming (10), martial arts (9). ), automotive (7), basketball (7), badminton (6), fishing (6), chess (5), paddle tennis (5), triathlon (5), handball (4), petanque (4) or tennis (4 ).
Other sports entities that will benefit from these grants develop activities in the sports of: baseball, billiards, hunting, colombiculture, fencing, gymnastics, horse riding, hockey, table tennis, shooting, volleyball and yoga.
Among the beneficiaries are two sports groups from Monturque.
The first is the Monturbike Sports Club, which will receive a total of 1,252.50 euros of the 1,670.00 euros requested, this grant will go to the cycling school and the training activities that the club develops.
The second is the Roman Cisterns Paddle Club, which has been granted 675.00 euros of the 900.00 euros requested, this aid will be used for the paddle tennis school and various tournaments that the club will develop in the town.
As in previous years, this call has been slow to be approved due to the large number of applications submitted by sports groups.
