Kevin Durant scored 18 points, caught six rebounds and had three assists in a 119-115 Brooklyn Nets victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday in a preseason game.

The Bucks were playing without the services of injured Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Kyrie Irving saw his ban on training in the Nets facilities lifted Friday by the New York City Hall, which nevertheless still denies him the right to play at home, due to his unvaccinated status.

Joe Harris had 15 points in the win.

Jordan Nwora led the loss with 30 points. For his part, Sandro Mamukelashvili totaled 20 points and 11 rebounds. Elijah Bryant scored 21 points and had 8 rebounds.

LeBron and Westbrook’s spoiled debut

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 121-114 to spoil the comeback for LeBron James and Russell Westbrook.

James was playing his first preseason game of the year. He registered 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 18 minutes of play.

Russell Westbrook wore his new jersey for the first time. He had 2 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 17 minutes.

They didn’t play in the second half.

Stephen Curry has been much more active on the other side with his 30 points, adding to 28 from Jordan Poole, who continues to impress in the preseason.
