Dongdaemun-gu, construction of a futsal field begins on the 14th… Construction completed this year and operational next year
[아시아경제 박종일 기자] Dongdaemun-gu (Director Yoo Deok-yeol) has started construction of a futsal field in Jungnangcheon 5th Sports Park (near Ihwagyo).
The district started construction on the 14th and installed signboards and banners to promote the futsal court to residents who went for a walk in Jungnangcheon.
The futsal field, which will be built to meet the needs of residents for living sports facilities, will be built with a regular size of 40m × 20m, and the construction will be completed within this year and will be operated from the beginning of next year.
The district will install movable fences, drainage channels and retaining walls to minimize flood damage in case of flooding of Jungnangcheon in consideration of the geographical specificity of the futsal field built on the riverside.
In addition, for smooth and efficient facility management, CCTV, remote door opening and closing devices, and broadcasting facilities will be introduced on a trial basis.
In particular, Jungnangcheon Sports Park, where the futsal court will be built this time, has a park golf course in the 1st Sports Park and a futsal court in the 3rd Sports Park in 2020. It is being reborn as a complex sports space where people of all ages can enjoy sports, including a park golf course and a futsal court.
