Twelfth edition of the La Clessidra national sports award, hosted, this time, after eleven years in Sansepolcro, in the beautiful setting of the eighteenth-century theater of Anghiari.

Presented by the former RAI journalist, Ugo Russo and Massimo Boccucci, in a nice talkshow, she returned after the stop from Covid. The first to be awarded were the bronze and silver medals, for the Republic of San Marino, Alessandra Perilli and Gian Marco Berti for the trap volley at the Tokyo Olympics, followed by the vice president of the San Marino Olympic Committee Christian Forcellini.

Then the Italian sports personalities from the Sassuolo technician, Alessio Dionisi, as coach of the year, to archery that saw the national president Mario Scarzella, together with Lucia Boari, bronze in Tokyo, then the journalists Ranucci, Special Prize , Giulia Mizzoni, Piero della Francesca Prize, Giovanni Scaramuzzino, first voice of “All football minute by minute”, to get to the king of cashmere and former president of Castel Rigone, Brunello Cucinelli, with national sporting recognition, to close with ” The Lifetime Achievement Hourglass “to Giovanni Galli, former goalkeeper of Fiorentina, AC Milan and the Italian national team. Much success for this edition, as always impeccably organized by Sauro Giorni and Alessio Scarscelli.

The hope is that La Clessidra will return, as usual, in spring.
