Before the last round, the leaders RFS and the vice-leaders “Valmiera” are divided by two points. RFS will visit “Daugavpils” on Saturday, but “Valmiera” will fight with “Riga” team.

In the tournament table, after 27 games, the RFS unit takes the first place with 63 points. “Valmiera” has 61 points, “Riga” – 49 and “Liepāja” – 48 points. Jūrmala “Spartaks” has accumulated 35 points, but 32 points are for “Daugavpils”. In last place is “Metta” with 20 points in 28 games.
Nine teams started the Premier League season, but during the championship, the most titled of the nine teams “Ventspils” first announced their withdrawal, and then – Daugavpils “Noah Jurmala”, which is surrounded by scandals.
This year’s Premier League champion is determined in a four-lap tournament.
