Police at ‘Tennis & Friends’ with specialized personnel, equipment and vehicles

The “Tennis & Friends” event, dedicated to the prevention and promotion of health with the patronage of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Health, has reached its 11th edition, to which the State Police has offered collaboration since the first edition. The event, which started today, will end tomorrow 10 October, from 10.00 to 18.00 at the Foro Italico in Rome and as in previous editions, the State Police will be present with its own specialist staff, equipment and vehicles.

During the two days it will be possible to benefit for free from the health station, where the doctors of the State Police are present who, with specialized equipment, will carry out cardiological prevention and diagnostics activities. The Scientific Police is present with specialized personnel and the Fullback: a pick-up set up with a mobile laboratory for immediate intervention at the crime scene.

This afternoon there will be psychologists and investigators with the “Pink Camper”, for the promotion of the project “This is not love”, a campaign by the State Police aimed at bringing out and countering the phenomenon of violence against women. Also today, at 16.00, for adults and children there will be performances by the Dog Units that will create a demonstrative essay of the operational activities.

Tomorrow from 12.00, the athletes of the Fiamme Oro Sports Groups will perform in the discipline of Judo and to follow, the athletes of the Fencing Section will hold a demonstrative essay, with the participation of Luca Curatoli silver medal Scabbard Team at the Tokyo Olympic Games .

Also on Sunday but at 5.30 pm the public will be able to attend the spectacular performance of the Fanfare on Horseback of the State Police. Finally, for the entire duration of the initiative, some historic vehicles from the State Police Car Museum and the new Lamborghini Huracan will be exhibited in a dedicated area.
