Paula Pareto was appointed as the new delegate of the Athletes Commission of the Argentine Olympic Committee (COA), chaired by Mario Moccia since this week.
“We athletes like to work as a team and I am very happy with this designation”, declared the ‘Little’ Pareto, present at the press conference that the entity gave in a port hotel before going to work.
“I was surprised how many athletes worldwide want to be leaders. That word is beaten. Today there is a different vision. Athletes have been given more voice for years. Now it will be a real voice and vote, but it has been a long time ago. fine, “said Pareto, who retired after Tokyo 2020 this year and completed the five-year residency as a trauma physician at San Isidro Hospital.

In addition, the world and Olympic champion will participate in the third season of Masterchef Celebrity Argentina, Telefe’s cooking competition.
“I am in the athletes commission of the international judo federation as well, but I am very happy with the new role in the COA to try to give the best to the athletes who come, so that they do not suffer some things that we suffer”, concluded Paula .

Laura Martinel, Pareto trainer, was appointed as a COA protester and is another of the five women who make up the Board of Directors for the period 2021-2025.
