ANKARA (AA) – Playing for the French representative LDLC ASVEL, Elie Okobo was named the most valuable player of the week (MVP) in the THY Europa League.
According to the statement made on the organization’s website, the French basketball player, who reached 37 efficiency points in the match, became the MVP of the 7th week in the league.
Okobo played the leading role in the victory by scoring 35 points, 4 rebounds, two assists and stealing in the match they beat Greek representative Panathinaikos 84-70 on the road. The 24-year-old basketball player reached the highest scorer performance of his career in this match with the LDLC ASVEL jersey.
