Nymburk – Igokea 86:82, Basketball players Nymburk celebrate their second victory in the Champions League

The basketball players defeated Nymburk in the 3rd round of the Champions League in the first home appearance of the season in the Bosnian Igokeu 86:82 and scored their second win. The best scorer of the match Jerrick Harding contributed 29 points. Another match awaits Nymburk on Tuesday, November 9, again in Prague at Královka against PAOK Thessaloniki.

Nymburk responded to Mark Starks’ opening three with a nine-point line and in the 5th minute the Czech champion escaped to the lead 14: 5. Harding and Demetre Rivers contributed equally five points. However, the Bosnian team was able to react and leveled off twice. In the 12th minute, he returned to the lead for the first time since the start of the match thanks to James Robinson, but Rivers and Lukáš Palyza also answered with threes.

The home team escaped by another successful passage at 31:21 and Nymburk was able to respond to the reduction of the Igokey thanks to the successful shooting from a distance. In the first half, he gave seven threes against three opponents and led 46:35. After a break, the team from Aleksandrovac started with a six-point line and at the end of the third quarter they managed an even longer point, which meant a turn of 64:62.

After a tug-of-war for the lead, Captain Vojtěch Hruban helped Nymburk seven points in quick succession to a 75:70 lead. Before Hruban fouled 68 seconds before the end, he managed to climb 17 points to the position of the second best scorer of the home team in the match. Even without him, Nymburk kept his lead.
