Antwerp has wiped the zero of the tables in the Europa League and about one hundred and fifty fans were there in Istanbul. Well… there. They were not allowed to enter the stadium because of the local corona regulations, but that couldn’t spoil their fun. The red and white supporters experienced their Turkish ‘awayday’ in a pub: without live football, but with a lot of atmosphere!

Not that the Antwerp fans hadn’t made any effort to get in, but whatever they tried: the Turkish authorities didn’t want to budge. No visiting fans welcome in the stadium. “Then let’s try to enjoy this fun city trip, huh. And the match? We’ll see them together in a Turkish cafe,” the fans said.
