Newcastle: piste Ismala Sarr

It is no secret that Newcastle, bought by a Saudi investment fund, has great ambitions and intends to strengthen itself in the coming months. According to the Daily Mail this Friday, the Magpies have an interest in Watford winger Ismala Sarr (23 years old, 9 games and 4 goals in the Premier League this season). The Toons would even make the former Rennais their offensive priority for the winter transfer window. Seduced by the qualities of the Senegalese international, Newcastle could try their luck in the coming weeks. Nevertheless, the operation promises to be very difficult to complete, because Watford does not intend to lose Sarr, and even less during the season.

Indeed, the Hornets are convinced that the player passed by Metz can eventually reach a level similar to that of Jack Grealish, who this summer became the most expensive player in the history of the Premier League with his transfer from Aston Villa to Manchester City against 117 million euros. Hence their desire to keep Sarr for the time being. Newcastle, who also targets a certain Eden Hazard (see brief 10:15), in distress at Real Madrid, will therefore have to find the right arguments.
