Olympic tennis champion Alexander Zverev reacted cautiously to reports of a relationship with actress Sophia Thomalla. “She is very nice,” said the 24-year-old athlete on Wednesday in Indian Wells when asked what he could say about a corresponding media report and grinned broadly. After a second “She’s very nice”, the man from Monte Carlo from Hamburg was silent.
The “Bild” had previously reported that the US Open semi-finalist and the “Are You the One” presenter, who was 32 years old on Wednesday, had been a couple for a few weeks.

As the newspaper reports, the two are said to have met four years ago through a mutual friend. Zverev was just 20 years old at the time. But it probably didn’t work until later.
According to the report, she last visited him in Florida, shortly before the start of the US Masters in Indian Wells. Zverev is one of the favorites at the tournament in California.
