The municipality of Ravels has completely renovated the sports floor of the sports hall in Poppel. The floor dated from 1992, the top layer was used up after thirty years. That is why a new one of more than 2 centimeters was laid on top of the existing floor. The municipality opted for “a multi-purpose, ecological and sustainable sports floor”. For example, it was upgraded from class 3 to class 1, including better shock absorption, skid resistance and ball rebound. In Poppel’s sports hall, among other things, basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, gymnastics and ballet can be practiced. The sports hall is used by clubs that may or may not play competition as well as schools.(woad)
