In just over a week and a half, the time has come and the NBA will start the new season. So it’s high time to present the new jerseys for 2021/22. A few jerseys are already official, a few other possible designs have also already leaked.

It all starts with the oldest franchises in the NBA, which are being treated to special Classic Edition jerseys for the 75th birthday of the league. Including the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS, who played in Philadelphia for the first 16 years.

In the design, accents from the old Philly jerseys were combined with typical Warriors elements. Klay Thompson seems to like it.

BOSTON CELTICS: The basic design is heavily based on the original from 1946 …

… the green and white shorts are also adorned with a shamrock. Very pretty.

NEW YORK KNICKS: The Knicks will also be playing in a classic way in the coming season. According to Nike, the font and the numbers were taken over from the first jersey, even a homage to the belt buckles from back then has been incorporated.

DALLAS MAVERICKS: This version of the new Mavs jersey has not yet been confirmed. The color scheme and the cowboy hat are reminiscent of the franchise’s first logo from the 1980s.

After all, we already know what the Mavs court design will look like in the coming season. We already know the Nowitzki silhouette and the Dallas skyline from previous years, but the Mavs have come up with something new …

… and all (and by that we really mean all) players are immortalized on the court who have played at least one game for the Mavs organization. 337 names can be found on the court.

And this is what it looks like in a slightly larger format. We think: a strong idea!

But now back to the jersey leaks and on to the LOS ANGELES LAKERS. This is what the new City Edition jerseys are supposed to look like, this design combines the familiar purple with the baby blue from the 1950s and 1960s.

MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES: The Wolves are apparently returning to their 90s blue. The “Wolves” lettering is strongly reminiscent of the early 2000s.

PHILADELPHIA 76ERS: The Sixers go back a few years (the franchise story also exists) and use the font from the 70s. The colors should be reminiscent of the shirt from the first season in Philly (1963/64).

PHOENIX SUNS: The colors are reminiscent of the “Rally the Valley” shirt from last year, while the circle around the number is an allusion to the jerseys from the Steve Nash era.

BROOKLYN NETS: Unsurprisingly, the Nets also make a detour into the past. Red stripes from the 80s, a similar lettering as in the 90s and a blue from the 2000s.

ATLANTA HAWKS: The falcon is celebrating its highly acclaimed comeback – at least in the Hawks fan scene. Especially in the 90s he was often represented on Hawks jerseys, the yellow also often adorned various jerseys of the franchise.

CHICAGO BULLS: The Bulls throwback is reminiscent of the early days of a certain Michael Jordan in the NBA. The Bulls already wore similar designs in the 1980s.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES: The basic shade of dark blue is known from the recent past, and yellow has also been incorporated again as a secondary color.

MIAMI HEAT: The Heat are known for their special jersey creations, even 21/22 they are brave again, if you can believe the leaks. In this design, each letter of the lettering is chosen from a different jersey era.
