With the start of the Training Camp, and with the first preseason games, there is an opportunity to see the rookies chosen in the Draft in action with the team. This is not the case with Los Angeles Clippers, which will have to wait a long time to see Jason Preston take the field. The 33rd overall choice, according to Adrian Wojnarowski di ESPN, has undergone a foot operation and will have to miss a good part of the season.
Clippers rookie point guard Jason Preston had right foot surgery in Los Angeles today and is expected to miss a significant part of the season, sources tell ESPN. Preston was the 33rd pick in the July NBA Draft out of Ohio University.

Jason Preston suffered a foot injury during a workout about a couple of days ago. The Clippers medical staff had taken a few hours to assess the situation, eventually deciding to have him undergo surgery. The expected recovery will be long enough, and Preston’s first season in the NBA could be in jeopardy.
The Clippers rookie, born in 1999, is a graduate of Ohio University. In the final year of college, the guard averaged 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game, shooting 57.6% from the field and 39.0% from over the arc.
