Market values: BVB star four times more expensive than VfL Bochum

The new market values ​​of the BVB and VfL Bochum professionals: Haaland remains the most valuable Bundesliga player – he is almost four times as expensive as VfL.

When the “Transfermarkt.de” portal publishes the update of its Bundesliga market values, there is great interest. Who has gained in value, who has lost? A total of 124 Bundesliga professionals were reassessed. Nothing has changed at the top: The currently injured striker is still there Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund the most valuable player in the German House of Lords. The 21-year-old has added another 20 million euros in value. Its market value is thus 150 million. This makes the Norwegian only the twelfth footballer to have cracked the 150 million mark in “Transfermarkt”. Incredible: In terms of market value, Haaland now surpasses half of all Bundesliga squads – including the one VfL Bochum (38.10 million). Haaland is worth almost four times as much as the neighboring club and is getting closer to the international leader Kylian Mbappé from Paris St. Germain (160 million euros).

Florian Wirtz (Bayer 04), Jude Bellingham (BVB) and Jamal Musiala (FC Bayern) are the top talents in the league, while big names like Kingsley Coman, Marcel Sabitzer (both FC Bayern) and Filip Kostic are making similar big leaps in market value (SGE) devaluations in the double-digit million range. Thanks to an appreciation from 55 million to 70 million euros, BVB professional Bellingham is now on the same level as Bayern’s Leon Goretzka and his teammate Musiala has made a jump from 38 million to 50 million euros.

The losers include Dan-Axel Zagadou (from 18 to 14 million), Mateu Morey Bauza (from 7 to 4 million) and goalkeeper Roman Bürki (from 4 to 3 million).

Gerrit Holtmann made the biggest leap at district rivals VfL Bochum. Its market value is now 2.2 million, previously it was 1.8. Milos Pantovic jumped from 600,000 to 900,000, Manuel Riemann from 600,000 to 800,000. Erhan Masovic increased from 300,000 to 700,000. Tom Weilandt experienced a deep fall: from 350,000 it went down to 250,000. And the most valuable player at VfL? This is Armel Bella Kotchap with a market value of 7 million euros.
