The Phoenix Suns were just two games away from winning the NBA Championship in 2021. Without a sudden and unexpected drop in performances from Devin Booker and De’Andre Ayton, they were in a better position than Milwaukee to win it all.
So now, heading into 2021-22, they’re title favorites if they can emulate last year’s regular season success. Fortunately, they still have Chris Paul on the team to lead the unit as a veteran voice. Plus, they also have the additional duo of Landry Shamet and JaVale McGee to add even more depth to the roster.
What are the crucial GSW games in 2021-22?
22 octobre vs Lakers : It will be a more crucial connection for the Lakers than for the Sun on so many levels. The Lake Show suffered an embarrassing first-round loss to the Suns in the last playoffs. It had never happened before that LeBron James had suffered such humiliation in the first round of the playoffs. The new nation of the Lakers will therefore have something to prove here. Plus, a Jae Crowder vs. Bron and a CP3 vs. Russell Westbrook would be great to watch.
Surprisingly, while most of the other teams have a back-to-back against the Lakers and Clippers (same venue), the Suns wouldn’t face them until December 13. This will likely have a fit Kawhi Leonard in front of them. In addition, their games against the Nets are also one month away from the start of the season.
February 10 vs dollars: As painful as it sounds for fans of the Phoenix Suns, their revenge shot won’t come until February. This time, the songs “Suns in four” could be replaced by something else. But it would still be an interesting watch. The two teams will only meet twice this season.
