Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant was fined $ 25,000 for throwing a ball into the stands, the NBA announced Saturday.
The incident occurred during the second half of Brooklyn’s 105-98 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night at the Barclays Center.

The Pacers asked the referees for Durant to be sent off but the star forward remained in the duel, although he did not escape this hefty financial penalty. In the end, he finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the Nets to their third victory of the season.
