Kamara after racism by Slavia Prague defender now whistled by school children

What should have been a joyous evening of football for 10,000 schoolchildren between the ages of six and fourteen, turned into an embarrassing evening at the Europa League match between Sparta Prague and Rangers by those same children.

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara was booed and booed throughout the game. In all likelihood, it was a reaction to an incident from last season.

Scapegoat

Kamara was then, in a duel against fellow townsman Slavia Prague, racially treated by Czech international Ondrej Kúdela. Kúdela, who denied the allegations, was given a ten-game suspension. The defender missed the European championship due to the suspension.

And the children had not forgotten that. They pointed to Kamara as the scapegoat and let him know that on Thursday in Prague at every contact with the ball.
