The Judo Calabro Loprete brings another success home with two regional titles and two passes to the final of Italian Cadet Championships. Two athletes from Isola who, climbing on the Cosentino mat gave their best without sparing themselves, without making discounts against the best athletes of Calabria and their determination, meant that their hard work was transformed into the highest step of the podium, at the sports hall of Quattromiglia.
Regional titles were won by Antonio Lequoque in the fine category -73 kg e Mattia Gallo heavyweight category +90 kg. After two years of hiatus due to Covid-19, the company of Isola di Capo Rizzuto he returns to compete by asserting himself in the regional field, imposing himself on the other Calabrian companies. The preparation goes on, therefore, for the final of the Italian championships which will take place at the PalaPellicone from Ostia Lido (Rome) Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October. The athletes of the Loprete have big chances to get on the podium and win the most coveted medal of the year.
