Getting the maximum out of it. Last week the 2nd JUDO Bundesliga was fought out in the form of a day tournament. 10 teams took part, these were drawn into 2 groups. ASKÖ Reichraming was in the pool with ASKÖ Graz, JC Wimpasssing, Union Burgkirchen / Schwand and WSG Wattens. The last named team canceled their participation at short notice, but was rated 7-0 for the other teams.
The mandatory win in the first preliminary round against ASKÖ Graz was very close with 4: 3. The next two preliminary rounds were easy going. Unfortunately luck was not on our side there. The Upper Austria derby against Union Burgkirchen / Schwand was a very close affair, with a better end (4: 3) for the Innviertel team. Against the later champions JC Wimpassing it was a clear defeat with 5: 2.
As a third party in Pool B, remaining in the 2nd Bundesliga was clearly secured, so the goal was achieved. In the final placement battle for 5th place, you faced third in the group from Pool A, PSV Salzburg. The Reichraminger team prevailed with a clear 5: 2 and secured the great 5th place in the 2nd Judo Bundesliga. The veteran and team captain Markus Kahlig, who won all of his fights with Ippon ahead of time, proved to be in top form.
The Bundesliga team struggled with the following line-up: Alex Klaus-Sternwieser (-60kg), Florian Kölzer (-66kg), guest fighter Julian Oberroithner (-73kg LZ Multikraft Wels), Jonathan Reisinger (-81kg) Simon Reisinger and Manuel Wiesinger (-90kg) Markus Kahlig (-100kg) and Florian Wiesinger (+ 100kg)
