With this, Varillas remained in the quarterfinals of the Challenger in Buenos Aires. This after two weeks in Chilean lands, in which he won his second title of the season. In the record against Báez, the Argentine is 4-2 in his favor.
Far from regrets, Varillas will have to continue with his tour of the region and will return to Lima for the second Challenger in the capital. The Lima tournament will be held from October 25 to 31 and the first national racket leaves as one of the candidates.
