José Ignacio Salgado new delegate of the Basketball Federation of Castilla y León

The Bañezan José Ignacio Salgado has been appointed new delegate of the Castilla y León Basketball Federation in the province of León, he is well known in La Bañeza for having held different positions in the CD Atlético Bañezano on which the basketball teams depend city, he has been a player, coach and manager, in addition to having been a sports councilor until the previous legislature for several years.

Salgado takes over from Vicente Bultó, who has resigned to continue performing the role of Provincial Delegate of the Castilla y León Basketball Federation in León, a decision taken according to Bultó himself, merely personal due to incompatibility with the rest of his personal obligations and professionals, without forgetting the dedication that his position as Director of Refereeing of the Federation also requires, a position that he will continue to hold.

The former delegate stated that he will try to continue collaborating with the Delegation of León and with its new Provincial Delegate in everything that is in his power, but without the demand and immediacy required to be the visible head.

José Ignacio has taken over after spending a year collaborating with the provincial delegation itself, in addition to his sports and professional career, having been a participant in the world of basketball in the city of Bañezana, they have made him an important weight in the province in the area sports and administrative of this sport.

Now the Bañezan is preparing his team of collaborators, both in the technical, arbitration and territorial level, where he will have a collaborator in El Bierzo. Both Salgado and his predecessor and the Territorial Federation itself hope that this change will contribute to promoting basketball in León and the province and placing it at the highest levels.
