Not spared from COVID-19 last season, the Boston Celtics have a first player who tested positive for COVID: Jaylen Brown. The franchise announced that it had entered COVID protocol and was therefore placed in quarantine. If he has been vaccinated, this quarantine should be short, normally a week, especially since he is asymptomatic.
The Celtics still have 3 preseason games to play, Saturday against the Raptors, Wednesday against the Magic and Friday against the Heat. The first game of the season will take place on October 20 against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. That shouldn’t prevent him from being present.
