There is no future for Christian Eriksen in Serie A: the Dane is no longer allowed to play football there after his cardiac arrest at the European Championship last summer. Inter want to cooperate in a transfer during the winter break.
Eriksen, 29, suffered a cardiac arrest during the European Championship match between Denmark and Finland. The midfielder now has a defibrillator, which can prevent a fatal cardiac arrest by delivering a shock if necessary.
But in Italy it is forbidden to play with a defibrillator. Inter confirmed yesterday that Eriksen will certainly not be allowed to play in Serie A this season.
Inter does not want to leave Eriksen to his fate and wants to participate in a transfer during the winter mercato. The Dane would still be welcome in the Jupiler Pro League and the Eredivisie, among others.
