INDES presents intervention designs for sports venues

The honorary president of INDES, Yamil Bukele, presents the final designs of the projects: Remodeling and equipping of the Ciudad Merliot Sports Complex and Improvement of the El Polvorín Sports Complex.

“It will take us 12 months to have the Ciudad Merliot Sports Complex ready and its approximate investment will be 10 million dollars,” said the honorary president of INDES.

According to the authorities, the Improvement of the El Polvorín Sports Complex involves remodeling of the Olympic, diving and warm-up pools.

In addition, “there will be improvements in the badminton gym, the velodrome and the skating rink will be remodeled.”

The honorary president also explained that “there is a good investment for the gray work, another part goes to sports equipment, also equipment to national federations, because the infrastructure is useless but we serve our athletes.”

The Government of President Nayib Bukele is working jointly to provide the country with first-class sports spaces.
