Gremio announces the departure of Felipao: Miguel Borja is left without Scolari as coach | Brasileirão today | Other Soccer Leagues

Gremio de Porto Alegre does not resist one more negative result. This Sunday they fell 1-0 to Santos, in a match on the 25th day of the Brasileirão and, with 23 points, they are second to last in the table, leaving 5 points to leave the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Miguel Ángel Borja has to miss several games due to an injury, which also took him out of the triple round of Qualifiers to Qatar 2022 with the Colombian National Team. So, off the pitch for a few weeks, the Colombian striker was notified this very Sunday of bad news.

Jaminton Campaz, the other Colombian who has Gremio, also found out, but plays little in the first team.

This Sunday, the club confirmed that Borja will have to say goodbye, also Campaz, to coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, who reached an agreement with the leadership to step aside.

Felipao had been criticized for his results, and also was questioned for not putting Campaz, the most expensive signing of Gremio this season.

Next Wednesday, against Fortaleza, Thiago Gomes will direct as interim. Meanwhile, Borja and Campaz are waiting to know who their new coach will be.
