Junior national player Luca Netz (Borussia Mönchengladbach) said he refused a “nonsense” transfer to the English champions Manchester City three years ago. That’s what the 18-year-old said image.
When asked about his rejection of the Citizens and the reasons for it, Netz explained: “Because I think it’s nonsense to switch to City at such a young age.”

The left-back was still under contract with Hertha BSC at the time. After eleven years with the old lady, he moved to Gladbach last summer for a € 4 million transfer fee and signed a contract dated until 2026. Netz, in which FC Bayern had previously shown interest, would also be against a move to ManCity: “Even if I were to get another offer now, I would refuse.
