Brancou Badio became the top scorer with 25 points. With six minutes to go, Ulm led 70:67, then the guests turned the game around with a 13-1 run. Terrell Harris leveled the game 28 seconds before the end of the fourth quarter to save Crailsheim into overtime. There TJ Shorts (19 points) hit the decisive lay-up for the Merlins 26 seconds before the end.
The MHP Giants Ludwigsburg held their own with 88:80 (40:35) at the Syntainics MBC from Weißenfels. This was Ludwigsburg’s first away win of the season. After a strong final phase, the Telekom Baskets Bonn defeated the Niners Chemnitz at home with 76:67 (25:29).
