First week of FIBA ​​Basketball Champions League: TOFAŞ, Galatasaray NEF and Pınar Karşıyaka started the season with a win, while Darüşşafaka and Beşiktaş Icrypex left the park with a loss

The 2021-2022 season, the sixth season of the FIBA ​​Basketball Champions League (BCL), the rising value of European basketball, started on Monday (October 4) with the struggles in eight groups consisting of four teams. Five Turkish representatives compete in the BCL, where the first week ended with 16 matches, and Turkey is the country with the highest number of representatives in the organization with this number.

Pınar Karşıyaka laughed once again with Bonzie Colson

Finishing the season in second place in BCL, Pınar Karşıyaka won her first match in Group B, 84-86 away from Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem. Bonzie Colson, the MVP of the 2020-21 BCL season, shone with 22 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks in the Turkish Basketball Super League (TBSL) game last week, where she scored 41 points against Bahçeşehir College. Not only did he score the winning three-pointer in Israel, Colson scored eight points in the final section, where Karşıyaka was trailing five points.

The Spanish representative, who won the cup for two consecutive tournaments in the BCL, which has been played for five seasons, won the match in which Beşiktaş played a good basketball with his experience.

Vitor Benite, captain of the Burgos team and MVP of the 2020-2021 BCL Finals, put his weight on the game at the end of the match and finished the game with 27 points, five three-pointers and 4 assists.
