How about a grant for your baseball field.
Baseball fields and other sports facilities are classrooms for children. Children should be proud of the places they play while having the opportunity to learn life skills and participate in an important stage in their socialization. Field Of Dreams is Jays Care’s grant program for infrastructure dedicated to youth life skills development and physical activity.
. The Field Of Dreams program provides funds to design, renovate and build safe spaces for children and youth to play baseball, develop life skills, and learn from positive role models. Over the past five years, Jays Care has committed over $ 8 million to 66 infrastructure projects across Canada.

The Field Of Dreams 2022 application cycle is now open! Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021.
While the organization understands that many organizations need assistance, it does require that grant applicants meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be community or charitable organizations
- Must use grant to build in Canada
- The project must be completed within 12-18 months of receiving funding approval
- Must be dealing with an infrastructure that directly supports children and youth facing barriers
- Must be able to provide audited financial statements for the previous year or the most recent
- Must be able to provide detailed quotes for all aspects of the project (required for the second phase)
- Must be able to provide all applicable municipal and work permits, if applicable
