Formula 1 and the National Basketball Association (NBA) today announced the release of one-of-a-kind content after signing a partnership to bring together NBA and F1 fans to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the NBA and the return of F1 to the United States this weekend in Austin.
To properly celebrate this partnership, Exclusive images featuring F1 cars in custom liveries representing all 30 NBA teams have been released.
On Thursday, October 21, F1 teams will compete off the track, in a free throw challenge on a birthday-themed basketball court set up in the Circuit of the Americas paddock in Austin. . Team personnel will compete to win a prize of 200,000 Dollars which will then be donated to a charity.
The United States Grand Prix will take place October 22-24 at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin and will be the seventeenth round of the 2021 Formula 1 season.
