Emilia-Romagna Alps Tour Grand Final: Paul Elissalde and Pau

This grand finale of theAlps Tour, contested on the Modena Golf & Country Club, will probably not be remembered as the best golf week of their career, but for Paul Elissalde and Paul Margolis, the main thing is not their final position on the leaderboard. Respectively 30th to -1 and 17th to -5, the two Habs set off again from Emilia-Romagna with, in their pocket, their card of the Challenge Tour for next season! A sesame obtained by keeping their place in the top 6 of theorder of merit (and not top 5 since the Spaniard Angel Hidalgo Portillo has already validated his ticket for the upper echelon by winning in Germany a few weeks ago). The 25-year-old Basque and the 22-year-old Frenchman, the latter still being an amateur, finished the season in 5th and 6th places respectively, and will therefore play in the second European division next year.

Note that the Spanish Victor Garcia Broto, winner in the play-off against the Italian amateur Riccardo Bregoli, has also validated his ticket for the upper echelon (4th), and will accompany the two Habs as well as the Italian Jacopo Vecchi Fossa (1st) and the Scottish Ryan Lumsden (2nd) on the Challenge Tour in 2022. Premier Bleu this Saturday in Modena, Franck Daux took 7th place in the tournament, four strokes from the play-off.
