GenPI.co – Choosing to lower Fajar/Rian compared to Kevin/Marcus in the 2020 Thomas Cup, the coach, Herry Iman Pierngadi alias Herry IP opened his voice.
The world number seven men’s doubles, Fajar / Rian must recognize the superiority of Taiwan representatives, Lee Yang / Wang Chi Lin in the second party of the final match of Group A of the 2020 Thomas Cup, Wednesday (13/10).
Playing Ceres Arena, Aarhus, Denmark, Fajar/Rian had to fight against the strength of the gold medal-winning pair of Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Even though they ended up losing through rubber games 26-28, 21-16, 14-21, Fajar/Rian actually played quite tight.
But unfortunately, Fajar/Rian’s failure to score points made Indonesia held to a 1-1 draw after Anthony Ginting had previously secured victory in the first party.

This was revealed by the head coach of men’s doubles badminton, Herry IP, who explained his reasons for choosing Fajar/Rian over other pairs, including world number one Kevin/Marcus.
