CB Albacete returned from Moral de Calatrava with medals

The under-19 players of the Albacete Badminton Club continue to obtain medals and points in their career towards their final classification for the Spanish Championship. On this occasion Loreto Marco, Oriol Arans and Mario Serrano traveled to Moral de Calatrava to contest the test held in the aforementioned town of Ciudad Real.

The Albacete players returned with three silver medals and some good points in their pockets. Loreto Marco was the first to get on the podium by reaching the U19 individual final in which she faced the favorite, Laura García, from Toledo, who fulfilled the predictions by taking the title by 21-11 and 21-13.

The same player from Toledo and her partner Jorge Jerez were also in charge of leaving Loreto and Oriol with the other silver medal. On this occasion they had to participate in the absolute category and the result of the final was 21-10 and 21-16.

The last silver medal went to Mario Serrano in the individual modality, also an absolute category, where, after beating the veteran and experienced David De La Cruz, he yielded to Jorge Jerez 21-18 and 21-16 in a match in the that the CB Albacete player demonstrated the clear evolution he has been having in recent months that brings him closer and closer to the level of the best.

The expedition was completed by the young Ana Cava (sub-15) in her first participation in a scoring TTR test, making it clear that as soon as she acquires a little experience, she will have to be counted on for the medals.
