Bundesliga: Stuttgart – Union 1: 1 – Jogi Löw sees last minute equalization and lightning red – Bundesliga

One point thanks to Jogi support!

Stuttgart gets a 1: 1 late against Union. And that despite a lightning dismissal. Because Joachim Löw (61) is keeping his fingers crossed in the stands?

The former national coach watches the game of his ex-club (player 1980/81, coach from 1996 to 1998) together with his 2014 world champion Sami Khedira (34). It is Löw’s first appearance in the stadium since the European Championship in the round of 16 against England (0: 2) that meant the end of his time as DFB coach almost four months ago.

What he sees may not have been much fun for Löw at first …

After conceding a 16-meter shot by Awoniyi (31st / with 12 goals now Union Bundesliga record scorer together with Andersson and Kruse), Stuttgart has to accept the craziest dismissal of the season: Karazor kicks Khedira twice within 34 seconds (!) Fed up, rightly sees yellow (56th) and then yellow-red (57th).

Insanity: With the last action of the game, Faghir hits a deflected shot to make it 1-1. And so save Stuttgart the point!

Union (Kruse surprisingly only on the bench) missed the fourth Bundesliga victory in a row and fourth place (would have been a record).
