Braves beat Dodgers to advance to baseball World Series

With a home run by Puerto Rican Eddie Rosario, the Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4×2 this Saturday and advanced to the 2021 Baseball World Series, where they will face the Houston Astros starting next Tuesday.

The Braves, who are 5-0 in postseason home games this year, three of them against the Dodgers, reach their first World Series since 1999, when they lost to the New York Yankees.

Puerto Rican Rosario was elected MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the Series, for his offensive performance.

The Dodgers, when eliminated, will not be able to become the first team with the possibility of winning the World Series two years in a row. The last to do so were the Yankees in 2000 against the New York Mets.

Rosario hit his third homer of the National League Championship Series and reliever Tyler Matzek (1-0) took the victory with an excellent relief by taking over the box in the seventh and removing Dominican Albert via strikeout. Pujols, Souza Jr. and Mookie Betts to put out the fire.

The setback went to starter Walker Buehler (0-1) and saved to Will Smith (1).
