Bosz’ Lyon gives AS Monaco homework for the duel with PSV

Olympique Lyonnais has won 2-0 at home against AS Monaco, but the match was not as convincing as the result. Peter Bosz’s team clearly had the upper hand, but failed to score for a long time.

Only fifteen minutes before the end, Léo Dubois was knocked down by Monaco defender Axel Disasi in the penalty area. Karl Toko Ekambi converted the penalty to put Lyon ahead.

At AS Monaco, which awaits the Europa League match with PSV on Thursday, Myron Boadu was brought in just before that 1-0, but he too could not turn the tide. In the last minute of the otherwise unexciting game, Jason Denayer made it 2-0.

Lyon climbed over Monaco to fifth place with 16 points. Boadu’s club remained in seventh place on 14 points.
