Five months after the LFB final lost by the Gazelles to Basket Landes, the two teams meet in the championship this Saturday, October 16 (6.30 p.m.) at the Palais des Sports de Lattes.
May 15, 2021, historic evening for Basket Landes. In an unprecedented Final 4, played on the Prado de Bourges floor, the teammates of the immense Céline Dumerc won the first French championship title in their history. In front of them shattered the dream of doubling BLMA, winner some time before of the Coupe de France.
Already a confrontation this season
Since then, a lot of things have happened, especially within a Hérault club that has started a new cycle. And the start of the season has already offered a confrontation between the winners of the two national titles at stake last season. The Champions Match, organized in Paris on September 26, offered a small revenge to the Gazelles, and a first title for the return of Valéry Demory on the banks of the Lez.

Act II this Saturday, between two formations which were successful in the middle of the week in the Euroleague: the BLMA went to win on the floor of Szekszard (65-72), Basket Landes on that of Fenerbahce (65-70).
