During the weekend, the Serie C basketball is back on the pitch. Basketball School, Nuova Pallacanestro, Amateurs Messina and Unemployed Milazzo win
A round of basketball in Serie C that still sees the Messina teams in the Silver category struggling. While they continue to travel on good performances Basket School Messina and Unemployed Milazzo.
They are joined this week by the New Messina Basketball which is unlocked. Derby day both in C Gold, with Basket School who played against Castanea, and in C Silver where Domenico Savio hosted Amatori Messina.
The match between Fortitudo Messina and Mastria Catanzaro has instead been postponed, the people of Messina have asked for the postponement still shaken and not mentally ready to tread the parquet after the death of comrade Fathallah.

Before the match, the boys of Basket School Messina wanted to remember Haitem Fathallah with a shirt on which the image of their former playmaker stood out and the words “There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are you will always be in our hearts ”.

Second defeat for the Milazzo mini-basketball at Palapadua against Virtus Ragusa who closed the match 73-56. A hard-fought challenge that despite everything saw an excellent defense by the Mamertine team. The Biancorossi of coach Restanti conclude the second game of Serie C Silver with a defeat inflicted by Virtus Ragusa which ends 73-56. “After this defeat there will certainly be a lot of work to do – declares coach Restanti – the goal is to win the first victory of the season, the opportunity is upon us will be that of next Sunday, a day in which the boys will deal with the Domenico Savio of Messina “.

A high-paced game that at the interval saw the neroarancio lead by 45-35, embellished by Scozzaro’s 20 points. In the second half Amatori responds to Savio’s attempts to overtake, three minutes from the end, the guests have an advantage by only one length, but huddling in defense and recovering some offensive rebounds they manage to keep the command of the game. Final score of 84 to 93, Amatori did not cross 90 points since 2017 in the away match against Adrano.
