The Bankoa Abanca-DV Tournament visits the Municipal de Bergara tomorrow at 11.30 am, a guaranteed fronton and a regular season for the competition in recent years. And it does so with the third of the four round of 16, practically in the middle of the competition.

Beñat Zubizarreta (Ataun, 16 years old) and Gorka Ugartemendia (Alkiza, 18) will debut in this edition and also in the tournament. Members of the extensive group of young pelotaris related to Baiko, we are looking forward to seeing them in action. They are clear favorites against Aimar Egiguren (Azpeitia, 18) and Jon Petite (Baños de Río Tobía, 18), winners in the first round against Javi Murillo and Beloki in Amorebieta.

The younger brother of Iraitz Zubizarreta, a professional from Aspe, is also a forward and dominates different fortunes, although he stands out above all for his solvency. Accustomed to playing with older people, as a cadet he has alternated with juveniles.

Ugartemendia, with a striking plant and a height of around 1.90, has made progress in recent months. Winner with Igoa in the Elder’s Tournament in the promises category, he exhibits a good forehand.

Aimar Egiguren and Petite, inferior in hitting on paper, will need to resort to knowing how to be, to perseverance and the ability to try to balance the combination.

Changes in majors

Double change, one per side in the second game, that of the seniors. Cause falls the Pamplona Unai Mata, participant in the U-23 World Cup that ends this afternoon in Íscar (Valladolid) and Vallelado (Segovia). He will not be at the side of Aratz Irazustabarrena (Alegia, 23) and the organization uses Gaizka Karregal (Galdakao, 22) as a replacement, who is played back as the most outstanding forward among those eliminated from the first round.

Neither will Albizturdarra defender Mikel Etxeberria be part of the game due to a last minute bad hand. Jon Lazkoz (Arbizu, 21) is the designated player to accompany Oihan Canabal (Igantzi, 23)
