The Atlético de Madrid It will recover its historical shield in the third kit for next season, as revealed by the specialized website Footy Headlines when publishing the first images of the elastic.
The t-shirt will be black while the logos will be in salmon-colored monochrome format. It will also have details in a wine red color.
However, the most important detail is that the shirt will have the old shield of the Athletic, changed in 2016 for a revamped version, coinciding with the announcement of the name of the new stadium.
This season Atlético already used that old shield in the so-called fourth shirt, a special edition in red to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the current name of the club. That shirt, however, has not been used in any game, while the one scheduled for next year will be seen on the pitch.
The change of shield has been the great controversy in the recent history of Atlético. Under the slogan “The shield is not touched” thousands of Atletico fans continue to demand that the club recover the historic version of the shield.
